A story of passion
Muriel and Frédéric had a dream… to combine their passions through a joint project. Muriel’s taste for art and staging and Frédéric’s taste for botany. From the history and world of master candle-makers apothecaries, “Secret d’Apothicaire” and its collection of scented candles and home sprays was born.
Indeed, what could be more logical than to pool Muriel's sense of decor, his taste for refinement and Frédéric's for the highly technical know-how that constitutes the world of pharmacies, perfume and wax once worked by the master wax-makers of the 18th century.
Made in Normandy in the great tradition of old-fashioned preparations, these candles, 100% soy wax, with a beautiful milky white color mixed with aromatic fragrances from Grasse, have evocative and poetic names: "Journey to Marrakech, Ball in St Petersburg, Midsummer Night's Dream, Candlelight Dinner..."
The candles are presented in Victorian-era brown glass dispensing jars, in transparent candy jars, but also in unique pieces of earthenware, also handcrafted.
